Beijing Art Now Gallery (BANG) was founded in 2004, located inside of the Beijing Workers Stadium. It overlooks a small bridge on a lake. The exhibition space of Beijing Art Now Gallery was created to accommodate the gallery’s specific purposes and needs. The space covers an area of 230 square meters, and includes an exhibition line of 61 meters, with plenty of natural lighting.
Beijing Art Now Gallery is an international professional institute which deals Chinese avant-garde art. One of the main initial targets of Beijing Art Now Gallery is to support Chinese art now in China, and to archive Chinese art now into the world art history.
In order to provide a further creative space to present more experimental and international exhibitions, promoting more young artists in the future, at the beginning of year 2007, Beijing Art Now Galley extended a second site to No.50 Moganshan Road, M50 in Shanghai. The exhibition space of two floors covers 500 square meters, 170 meters’ exhibition line, installed with video room and database independently.
