SHALINI GANENDRA FINE ART ('SGFA') was founded as a fine arts consultancy and gallery in 1998, with the opening of the flagship gallery, The Private Gallery, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. SGFA established a presence in London in 2007.

SGFA specialises in Asian contemporary art in all media, with particular focus on art from SE Asia and Sri Lanka. Drawing upon broad expertise in the fine arts, SGFA offers a full range of services to clients.

To be a truly successful and enduring presence in the history of art, no contemporary art movement can exist in geographical isolation. An artist must thus find a place in the global arena of collecting, criticism and commerce. SGFA is committed to aesthetic and cerebral originality, challenge and development, and represents talents who pursue these ideals.
