Established in 2005 in Beijing, the main aim of Platform China is to develop and promote contemporary art and to build up a platform of cultural exchange and dialogue between Chinese and international artists.

Platform China is one of the most active agents on the contemporary art scene in mainland China; after 7 years of research and investigation into a vibrant young generation of Chinese artists the gallery’s new phase in Hong Kong evolves around the format of an art salon/project space.

The objective of Platform China (HK) is to present and promote an alternative way of exhibiting art as well as develop and foster new encounters and interdisciplinary research。

Located in the vibrant area of Chai Wan, Platform China (HK) expresses the peculiar character of the gallery providing a platform for exhibition investigations and critical formats of communication through the production of art projects and consultancy services.
