Advocating the idea that art is universal and ubiquitous, MobArt hopes to introduce a whole new lifestyle that inspires one to appreciate art wherever and whenever. Instead of setting up a fixed gallery space for the purpose, MobArt proactively brings art to people’s doorsteps by curating exhibitions in urban spaces like restaurants, cafes, lounges etc

MobArt Gallery has only one ambition: to make Hong Kong a world-class art city, comparable to (or even better than) London, New York and Paris. Through launching art shows around town, MobArt strives to make art an integral part of everyday life, which would in turn foster an environment that supports and nurtures young, talented local artists.

MobArt was only set up at the beginning of 2009 but had already received huge amount of positive feedback and support from artists, venue owners and friends alike. This is not hard to believe, as the business model creates a win-win situation for all: artists get their well-deserved exposure and recognition; venue owners get a fresh look and positive publicity for supporting the art scene; and MobArt is one step closer to its goal in making Hong Kong a better place for art.
