Gaodi Gallery is located in the Beijing Art District 798. It is an organization devoted to promote Chinese contemporary art through collection, exhibition and international communication.
Mr. Lin Dong, professor of the LuXun Academy of fine arts, opened this gallery in the early 2005. As a well-known artist, Mr. Lin has applied him-self to Chinese art for two decades; his principal activity today is to advance the humanism consideration of Chinese contemporary art and encourage the growth of experimental art languages via this gallery.
Highland Gallery focuses on the leading artists in China but pays more attention to discovering current artistic trends and exposing new potential artists. While establishing good relationships with curators in both China and aboard, Highland Gallery aims to create a dialogue between east and west. With its affiliated studios and accommodations, the gallery is providing a communication location to artists in both China and from around the world.
Collection: Highland Gallery collects high quality art works which reveal the reality of China and are destined to be important in Chinese art history.
Exhibition: Our current exhibitions range from painting and sculpture to photography. The only criterion for inclusion in the gallery's exhibition is the quality of work and its capacity to be significant in the modern world.
Space: Highland Gallery's space is rebuilt from a separated loft in the Art District 798. With its 320 square meters exhibition space, and its international style space design, it accommodates art works from China and abroad.
International: Highland Gallery welcomes exhibitions from international artists. It's affiliated art studios and accommodations provide a location for international art communications.
