Since its founding in 1987, Impression Art Gallery has always held fast to its mission of advancing culture and the arts, quietly cultivating relationships between the worlds of art and commerce. The gallery has established a reputation for integrity through its promotion of art to society at large, its role in the formation of a mature and respectable art community in Taiwan, and for its tireless efforts in strengthening the arts.

Located on in Taipei City, Impression Contemporary Space opened its doors on October 20, 2007. The design concept for this fresh and up to date space centers on its 4.8 meter ceilings, simple floor plan and contemporary atmosphere, which is much like The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. With the vitality that this new design imparts to Impression Contemporary, we hope to promote art in the downtown area with an even more progressive attitude, and bring new art concepts to the general public.

In addition to solo exhibitions, Impression Contemporary Space curates group exhibitions, presenting the multiple facets of contemporary art, and creating a new vision for the future of art in Taiwan.
