Since it was founded in 1988, BON Gallery has contributed greatly to the development of Korean art by presenting solo and group exhibitions covering various themes, as well as attending art fairs. Dealing with both well-established artists in Korea like Kwon Ok-yeon and Moon Shin and new and ingenious ones like Chun Jun-yeop and Lim Jong-doo, we have been playing a role as a prestigious gallery through well-thought-out artist selection, professional caring of artworks, and high-quality customer service. Also, we opened a permanent exhibition hall in 1997 for Mr. Kim Jung-ok (pen name: Baek San), who is a potter designated as intangible cultural asset No.105, and his successor Mr. Kim Kyung shik (pen name: Woo Nam) to introduce traditional Korean pottery’s elegance and superiority. In 2007, we moved to a new exhibition space at Insa-dong and have been trying to develop and expand an art market in Korea by promoting talented artists.
