Established in 2002 by Dong Jo Chang, The Columns has firmly fixed its reputation as one of the most powerful galleries in Korea. With numerous international exhibitions and occasional gallery talks, The Columns aims at introducing both emerging and established artists to the Kroean art scene. The Gallery also seeks to enhance the presence of Korean contemporary artists in the international art world by participating in art fairs and biennials worldwide.
Most importantly, The Columns gallery strives to connect the Korean art scene with the global reality and become a leader in the exchange of contemporary art internationally. As the potential of art to enhance life is limitless, The Columns seeks to bring the global art scene to a broader public creating a space for international art to directly affect people.
