ANG YIANSANN ( Chinese name:Wang Yuan Shan) is a contemporary Asian-Chinese artist / industrial designer who works and lives between Singapore and Vietnam. He graduated and studied at the LaSalle College of the Arts with a Diploma in Art from 1986-1989. From 1995- 1998, he was awarded an arts scholarship from Lee Foundation to study at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and graduated with a Master degree in Industrial Design ( by Research). From 1999- 2002, he was appointed Fellow at the Department of Architecture, National University of Singapore and was a lecturer in industrial art and critical design. From 2004-2006, he also lectured and taught at the LaSalle College of the Arts in industrial art and contextual design. He lives and works between his studios in Singapore and Hue City, Vietnam and works on political inknography and extemporize design , the conceptual art and design of singularity and insularity, related to social-political issues in China, India and the Southeast Asian region.
