DOOSAN Gallery and the Artist in Residence Program in New York are dedicated to the discovery and support of young and emerging Korean artists. Managed by DOOSAN Yonkang Foundation in South Korea, DOOSAN Gallery New York is the first non-profit organization from Korea to be recognized by the state of New York as well as the New York City Department of Education. The organization provides artists with many resources such as studio and exhibition space and living quarters in the capital of contemporary art. The organization’s goal is to serve as a gateway to significant exposure and invaluable opportunities for these artists by nurturing their creativity and helping them share their work with a broader audience.
