Elementa is a modern and contemporary art gallery that features work by both established and emerging artists from around the world who work in a diverse range of mediums. As a gallery we support bold and innovative ideas and look forward to encouraging and assisting new talent in particular. With its broad and open outlook, Elementa will be focusing on international modern and contemporary art. The gallery will be hosting six to seven shows a year. Each show will run for a duration of six weeks. The gallery will also open up its space for discussions and forums aimed at providing a platform for exchange and cultural dialogue.

The gallery occupies an impressive warehouse which has been specially converted into a contemporary space located in the Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA). Unlike many other local galleries we have selected this location to break from the mold and feature a new space closer to the traditional center of Dubai. We are also nearer the emirate of Sharjah which hosts the Sharjah Biennale and is home to a university featuring a reputed visual art department as well as a renowned museum of contemporary art. The gallery launched and opened its doors on the 12th of January 2008.
